As an interior design student, I usually drag a lot of obnoxious crap across campus (I have more triangles than a girl should have). The school gave us a very unfashionable ziplock bag to carry our things in, but that wasn't cutting it for me. I wanted something very sturdy and big enough to hold most of my supplies. Oh- with lots of pockets....

Thanks for looking!

Wow! That is so gorgeous - I love the colours you chose! The construction/piecing is excellent, too. And the little drawstring/tie for the water bottle holder is adorable .... great job, gah, I love it Smiley

as a fellow interior design student, i totaly don't appreciate the blue/clear zip lock bag that we are issued.  You're bag is awesome!  we had a neocon expo at school and one of the fabric companies had purses almost JUST like the pattern you made yours (the outside) and colors (minus the cool inside) and they were selling them for like $40.  GREAT JOB!!!!

Great bag! The color is wonderful and eye catching and I love all the pockets. I'm very envious of you going to school for interior design, and your very cool bag!

Thank you everyone for such wonderful speedy responses!
AirBorn: It actually cost me about $55 to make, but I don't mind since I could customize it to my needs, with all th pockets. Anything but those silly plastic bags!

Mienna: I actually changed my major three three times and changed colleges twice. Guh!

That bag is sumptuous!  Fantastic colors and such an impressive array of pockets, which look amazing under the flap!  I think my favorite thing has to be that zipped compartment going long-ways...very ingenious.  And I also really love the way you patchworked the side gusset, too.  I can't say enough about this bag!  Amazing, amazing work!  Cheesy
