Saturday = Sewing all day!!

Hallo folks!
As I wrote on my blog, today I I have enjoyed a full day of relaxation to my sewing machine, the adored "berny", and I produced a couple of new things. This is the project that gave me more enthusiasm, I took inspiration from pleated bag, and I sewed this wristlet pouch.

I love it!  Was it hard to pleat the top and then put the zipper in?  I was wondering if the construction was similar to putting together a regular zipped pouch (like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0).  I realize these pics have been deleted, but it shows the sewing of the lining and the outer fabrics at the same time to the zipper.

Anyway, I love the fabrics and especially the shape...it's different than the usual wristlet/pouches you see out there!  Great job!!

Great bag. I love the fabric. Do you pleat the fabric and then just add the zipper? You don't pleat the lining, do you?
