Altoids recipes?

Anyone have any recipes involving altoids?  The tins are so useful for crafty goodness, but my altoid consumption can't keep up with my tin needs.

Hmmm -- I bet it'd be cheaper and healthier to buy the empty tins from a packaging supply company!  

The tricky part is finding a company who doesn't have a huge minimum order. I've actually seen a bunch of places online that will sell them in small quantities but I don't have them bookmarked.

Soap/cosmetic/candlemaking supply shops are a great way to buy a small number of "packaging items" like this.

I think they're sometimes called watchmaker's tins or watchmaker's cases if that helps.

old navy now has 'winter wonder mints' in small 2" diameter round tins that will hold 5 marble magnets.  They're on sale for 47 cents, and the candy is even pretty good.  I think they'd be pretty easy to decorate.

I'm fascinated with these aol tins! and would love to use some in my crafty doings! They have sooooooooo much potential!
Alas  I live in Australia and we do not have such tins (that I have come across) and that is a little dissapointing!  
So whats the go   is there somewhere online I can go to to get some of these oh so interesting tins?

I have found that pretty much anything mint+chocolate is to die for. try playing around with that? I made truffles once and put some candy canes in it. just replace the canes with crushed altoids, and i bet it would taste divine.

I'm starting to feel as if I am the only person here who does not like the taste of Altoids... I love the tins, but I put the candies into little baggies to unload onto my friends.... lol

my main beef with altoids--forgive me, i pun--is that they are made with gelatin and so not for the vegetarians.  damn it, i want tons o' tins, too!  i have to satisfy myself with "sourz" tins and they are not nearly so snappy...
