Here is the pattern.  I like it a lot and I got to round 5 and went, "Buh?"  I can't figure out how to make it work with adding an extra loop to one of the points.  I cut off and wrapped wire around it to make it round, and I might do that with beads for some of them, but I'd like to know how to do it with crochet too.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

but it can be a little tricky if you are not used to it.... when you chain the 14.... it adds and extra three chains to it and it basically is the double crochet you are doing twice in the other holes.... when you finish with the last double crochet in the same hole you started you have to chain 5 more for the hole and then connect it on the third chain from the start of the row...  does that help?

Yeah, I've been crocheting for years and just had a Stupid Moment.  I don't know.  Roll Eyes  But I modified it and I like my version better than just a plain circle around the loopy part!  I'll post it in Finished Projects after I get them blocked.  Thanks for taking a look at it for me!  Cheesy
