So, My husband came home the other day with a big box. I said, "what's in there honey?" "About 40 Pillowcases!" He says. He works in plumbing so I have no idea where these would have come from. Perplexed, I asked him "What the heck are we going to do with them?" "Use them on our pillows, of course!"

Well, that night I got a message in my voice mail from my sister. She told me all about the craftster challenge and how I should join her and learn how to embroider pillowcases. "It's a sign" I said to myself. So here I am posting my creations.

One pillowcase is for me and one for my husband. We are complete opposites most of the time. He loves winter, and cold, and he can't resista cup of Hot Cocoa. I love, love, LOVE the summer, heat and I can't resist a cool glass of Lemonade. So, I put three opposites together, Summer and Winter, Hot and Cold, Sweet and Sour.
This is my first shot at embroidery but I have been sewing and doing other fabric crafts for quite a while.

Whether you are a summer person or a winter person you can agree that you can't enjoy one without the other.  This makes my mouth water, mmmmmmmmm. . . . .
It feels like hot cocoa time will be here soon! Living in Phoenix, we pray for cool weather when we can put on sweaters and drink hot cocoa without having heat stroke!

Thanks for looking, and . . . . . VOTE FOR ME!!!!!

So simple, yet so refreshing!

Mmmm, Lemons. Is your mouth watering yet?

Oh! Adorable! I'm a wintery-loving gal, myself. But then, I'd never turn down a glass of lemonade!
