so i havent had a 'job' in 7+ years.  im a stay at home mom.  its the job im best suited for.  Wink  especially when i called a freind today and asked if she stayed home from work today. she said "no why would stay home?"  i said " duh so you could knit!!"
obviously i have no professional realworld work ethic.  but now i got thinking- anyone ever really take a day off to knit?

that's my dream if I had any annual leave to spare....LOL!!! But then I wouldn't stay home cause I would start to clean instead of knitting.

Grin Grin Grin many, many times in the past.  I very rarely get sick, and our company gives us 10 sick days per year.. I would take the day off, and knit ALL day long.. they are called mental health days  Grin Grin Grin

Well, I can't say that I've ever called off work to knit, but I sure have called off going to CLASS to knit.  Roll Eyes

A walk-in closet full of yarn isn't TOO much...

Totally.  At least once.  Probably another time I was feeling sorta sick or tired and just knitted all day.  I call them mental health days too!!  My job is.. well, unimportant.  Many people do worse AT work and get away with it, so.. yea.

I skip class instead, sometimes even leave halfway through if it's necessary.

Lucky me...I just babysit, so I take my knitting with me and work on it when the baby is sleeping  Cheesy
