I second (or third) the question as to if you can combine thrift store items as long as it's under $20.  If not, then how can you make it prettier?  With stuff you already have?

Thanks

Same thing here... I have a ton of stuff from my grandmother I'd love to use, but I have no idea what the "thrift dollar" value would be on some of it.

Either way I'm going to take the plunge (as I'm a total newbie here) and try it.  I just have to say there is some formidable talent represented here, I hope I'm up to the challenge!

I really want to enter, but what is a thrift store? I haven't heard that word used before in the UK, is it like a Charity Shop that sell second hand stuff? Thanks!

A thrift store is the same thing as a second hand shop. All of the items have been used before.  Wink

Give it to a thrift store, then buy it back. :-P

I too would like clarification. Can we start with more than one item as long as the final outcome is just one item? And I'm guessing we can embellish with other stuff or it won't be all that pretty  Grin
