I have a question about "ugly". How do we really determine that? I mean, what if my "ugly" item is something someone else says isn't ugly at all? Is it just up to me to determine my ugly? Hope I'm making sense...

is it also ok to use something that is not so ugly but it is  broken..,.so now it is useless?

I think you might want to stick with ugly rather than broken since the title of this one is "Super Ugly to Super Awesome" (not Super Broken to Super Awesome).

That totally reminded me of Humpty Dumpty. Grin Cheesy

I'm definitely planning on entering this one.  I like that the theme allows for all different kinds of crafting skills.  Once I find my ugly item, I'm planning on taking a pic that shows the price tag still on to prove that it's less than $20. I haven't entered a challenge like that before so I'm not sure if that's required or not?

I hope not - the place I'm going doesn't do price tags or receipts...you just pick up what you want, take it to the counter and they guess at how much to charge. Except that jeans are always 3.

I am soooo exited about this challenge. I went to the goodwill today to find my hidden treasure.
I honestly couldn't come up with anything! I couldn't believe it. I was in the store for over an hour! I finally ended up with an idea and some items.
I might go back in a few days and try again.
