I got my inspiration for my Halloween wreath from knitaholic's fantastically wonderful post here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=198130.0

I used a straw wreath and wrapped it with 18 feet of "craft boas." I also used a stem of black silk flowers and I picked apart one of those Christmas pics with berries on it. If you peel the berries off individually, each has a wire stem that's good for wrapping.  I created the berry clusters by wrapping the stems of 3 berries together, and created the flower clusters by putting 4 flowers around 1 berry and wrapping the berry stem around everything. The clusters are held on by massive amounts of hot glue.

Yikes!  The fur makes it look creepy, like its a creature waiting to nibble your fingers when you open the door!  I love it!
