Okay, I'm kind of in a rush to get out of town for the holidays, but I wanted to post at least one xmas FO before I go. This is the SnBN Bunny Hat modified to be a Hello Kitty hat for my niece. It's knit in Sirdar Snowflake which is the most evil yarn on the entire planet (NEVER USE IT!!). But the result is pretty darned adoreable (even if it is being modeled by Tux whose head is a really odd shape). It's a really cute hat pattern, but I think the one shown on the baby in the book is actually quite a bit too small for her.

Shocked I think that might be the most adorable hat I have ever seen!

I love that hat! Great job.

BTW, WHERE did you get that Tux stuffed animal? My hubby is into Linux and really wants a Tux plushie.

I got him at ThinkGeek a few years ago. Just checked and they don't appear to have the big one anymore, so I'm not sure if he's still made. But they have a mini-Tux!

Too funny! I just bought my SO a mug from Think Geek with the caffeine symbol on it and myself the clipboard made out of a circuit board.

I saw the little Tux but my SO is picky about what kind he wants. I'm thinking of making the peguin from knitty.

Cute hat! It looks really soft, and I love Hello Kitty. I also love Linux, and if Mr. Twilight is picky about the Tux-ness of the plushie, the knitty penguin isn't very linuxesque. Unless I'm just guessing, and he wants a realism sort of penguin. At any rate, for crafty girls like all of you, I had to share http://www.free-penguin.org/ for all of your homemade Tux plushie needs.  Cheesy
