Having trouble with piping for a bag? Can any one help?

I'm trying to put piping on a bag and its all going wrong and driving me mad!! Does any one have any tips?

are you using the zipper foot? It helps to hand baste it down if its your first time using piping, or to use wonder tape. Heres a site I used when I had to pipe some pillows..
