Can you post a picture so that we can see where it's going wrong?

She posted that here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=424757.0#axzz2Wn6k8uwW too

I answered her but you may have a different opinion than me, I think her head looks good just needs hair and facial features to look more facelike is all

Wow. I haven't been on here in over a year.  Shocked

I'm going to make another poppet soon, and I was wondering, can I make it out of fleece? I have this gorgeous blue fleece in my stash and I was wondering how that would work for a poppet. Thanks.  Smiley

o.O hmm....with how stretchy fleece can be I dunno....maybe put a lightweight interfacing on the wrong side to minimize some of the stretch?

Hi all! I was in the Poppet Mini Swap so I thought I would put some Pics in & show her on here.. My partner "Tenitsu" wanted a Anime Poppet & by the way the doll she has posted to show her eyes is mine & I love her so much & her eyes in person are so fabulous! "Tenitsu"  is a awesome sewer & very crafty. Anyway getting back to talking about her Poppet. I don't know much about Anime Dolls I looked & looked on line & on her pinterest I found Maya. So I tried to copy her & I think she turn out pretty good & my first time painting & using felt tip markers. It's not perfect but it's OK. So here she is!!

A close up of her face.

A close up of her pleated skirt I haven' made one of these in years & I just made it up so each pleat is a little different size.

Her top is the heel of a sock so I just turn a hem down & put a pink ribbons on each side & tied in back. The panties is a ribbon like 'Tenitsu" made panties for my Poppet so I copied hers. Pretty good Idea! Thanks "Tenitsu"
I also made her a belt with a sword & sheath with jewels on it & a pouch with jewels in it all hanging on the belt & flip flop as sandals! Her fingers has pipe cleaners in each one & a ring on left hand!  Cheesy

=D it actually doesnt turn out half bad, well the markers bleed a little on the suede but on cotton quilting fabric or regular muslin it works great ha ha just take a look here

The possibilities are limitless and totally fun haha =^.^=

Oh "Tenitsu" that looks so cool!! I really like it!!  I did my first Poppet a design from her neck down to her hand, but I embroidered it. Can't wait to see the whole doll! Beautiful design!!  Cool I think the markers would be easier & faster after a person would get use to it!
