I made another one hehehe!

Aint he cute!

Fake fur tipped with a sharpie fabric marker makes up his hair, lil eyes are regular shank buttons painted and varnished. His shoes are made of felt, boy those curled toes were fun to make!! The lil random monkey was made with Ghilie's cupcake pattern, made him for my baby brother =D love these patterns!!

I forgot to post here  for the Ongoing Poppet and Punkin-along . I saw the post for the poppet-swap and got carried away with wanting to join.
I bought some material online but told unavailable so look for some stretchy material to practice with. I also found some eyes (15mm) at Joanns .Well, I found some stretchy material (spandex and lycra) . I couldn't find any freezer paper so I had to trace and cut. Wow! dang material was squirming all over the place. I had to make tailor tacks to keep it together and take a couple of breaks. I've also stuffed and will put together tomorrow. I kept stuffing and stuffing till I got blisters. Just when I thought I had enough in I had to add more.Crazy but their stuffed ( 1 poppet and 3 cupcakes.

I've finished my poppet! Cheesy He came out better than I thought. Everyone thinks he's freaky looking compared to the cupcakes but I very happy with him. I forgot to take pictures on Easter of them. Right now my camera sucks, phone does too, and my Ipod on the fritz, but as soon as I can I'll post a picture.

My sister took pictures of the cupcakes I made. This is the only photo of them. I  brought fabrics, an apron and dress pattern ,needles, and thread so they could make clothes for them.

Omg!! Those are adorable!!! They came out way better than the ones I tried....though my fabric had some uber stretch to it ha ha XD the baby liked them so I suppose thats what counts XD

What fabric did you use? Any type of suede seems hard to find in my area.... meh

To tell the truth these were practice/demo patterns. Since I couldn't use alova  I figured I would find cheap material with some kind of stretch in it to practice with. After searching at a thrift store I actually found a suit that had some stretch in it. And walla(?) It work. I'm still trying to get my photos off my IPod nano to post my Poppet.
