Yep, those eyes of her's are hand painted. Figured it might be safer for the baby if she cant manage to pull them off and try to eat them =D I dont think I'm ever getting her back to finish her outfit completely, the lil one seems permanantly attached to her hehe

Sharpie's Stained* brand fabric pens are the best things I've ever worked with! a lil light touch and about 5-10min to try, and the stuff you can do with those is just amazing! The little hearts on Bunny's kimono was drawn on, same with her eyes....I'm so tempted to make a few more of these the baby loves them so much....that and their just adorable! They'd make awesome little guardians for my lil indoor greenhouse

Very nice! I knew you'd do great! Wink I've been tempted to get those fabric Sharpies, maybe next pay check lol! Thanks for the Sharpie review. Most definitely safer for babies. I'll need to do that for my next one.

Def. play with them for a min on a scrap piece of frabic before doing the work you really want to though, the ink places so easily (not like playin with pens) dont know if you've ever used caligraphy brushes but it works similiar to that (except you dont have to dip the brush in the ink). And I'd start with really light touches, these things work great and so easy, but even I'd get frustrated building a new head 4 or 5 times hehe!

Hello I 've decided to join the poppet-along . I have the pattern and the material, I only have one question.  What size eyes am I suppose to use.? I 've tried all treads but no ones really stated what size they used. I haven't stuffed yet for fear of buying wrong size or style. Thanks ahead for answer. Angelina

There's no wrong way - people have used anywhere from 8mm to 20 mm, but average is 15 mm.

I made another one hehehe!

Aint he cute!

Fake fur tipped with a sharpie fabric marker makes up his hair, lil eyes are regular shank buttons painted and varnished. His shoes are made of felt, boy those curled toes were fun to make!! The lil random monkey was made with Ghilie's cupcake pattern, made him for my baby brother =D love these patterns!!
