how well does fleece do for poppets? I am thinking of making one out of blizzard fleece....

I made one, it works but only OK. Use the right fabric if you want a great looking poppet with good detail.

I have made poppets with "right" fabrics. I was just curious to see the results of fleece before I tried in case it would be a waste. I am on a tight budget and the colors I have in alova suede are in flesh colors and I need like pink or blue or white. or even yellow or purple. All of which I have in fleece.

ok..yall have inspired me,....off to attempt my first poppet..or punkin...i have both patterns ready.. just waiting to see which one i am going to attempt first when looking thru my stash

ok now that the mini poppet swap is finished, I am going through major poppet withdrawl. I think I am gonna try to make my daughter a mini Zelda and Link. That is her major obsession right now. my minis are like 75%. Dont know when they will get done but that is the next ones I have planned, and maybe a mermaid. Unless there is a swap in the mean time.

I just did a mini. It was supposed to be 90% but it turned out really small. Not sure what I did. Oh well.

I finally started to make a poppet, but I'm worried about her coming out right. Had to modify the pattern a bit since she'll be a faun/satyr.
