I so want to see that poppet.

Also Hancock Fabrics have their butter suede (which is what I used on the merpoppet) on sale for 2.99 a yard online.

How about making one for your self then. Never need and excuse to treat yourself.

Too right!!!  Grin But every poppet I've made so far has demanded to go to someone else  Undecided

My 16yr old would love that animae poppet will have to see if she wants one.  I am dieing to make another poppet just need to figure out for who

I admit Yoko was really fun to make with her Big Busty awesomeness.  Cheesy  Cool Now I have to get better at making Men's clothing so I can make me a Tsuruga Ren and Kyoko doll. They're from Skip Beat  Smiley Maybe as Setsu and Cain Heel.... that'd be interesting. Good luck KimD!!

Meet Karlanna, my latest poppet. I made her for an angel package that went to theatreorchid in the Plethora of Poppets swap. Karlanna means Daughter of the Dragon, so hopefully you can see the theme here Wink

Here's Karlanna's thread

Karlanna is really awesome! I'm curious if her bottom clothing is dragon pants with the black over-skirt, or all skirt. It's a bit hard to tell. Great outfit and wings!

Thanks guys Smiley Ice, it's all skirt. I made it starting with dragon strips and then added black velvet godets to it.

That is a very cool poppet.  I love the colors you chose for her.  And those wings are really nice!  I don't think I could make wings....

Meanwhile, everyone go look at the poppet swap gallery and see the cool poppet Avery made for me!  There's also a very pretty mermaid poppet who's jewelry I want to steal: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=381282.0

Yep, like amigurl55 said, the poppet I made her is now up in the gallery. I also made him his own thread.

Here is a teaser of him:
