It took me 2 week to make Gus. I did put in alot of hours during the two weeks, probably 5 hours a day to complete him Smiley

Thank you so much Ghilie for sharing your pattern and to all the other ladies who have shared ideas and modifications! It has given me the courage to attempt my own pattern, which someday soon will be finished. In the mean time it's poppets poppets poppets.
I also found out why these little creatures are so temperamental and secretive! Did you know the word poppet means a doll used, whether for good or evil, in witchcraft or voodoo? I did a google search to see if any other poppets were on line and found that info. Explains a lot!!

I needlefelted his hair in layering rows. I'll do another poppet someday and make a tutorial, but probably not anytime soon (school, work, life, etc)
