now that she's jointed the difference in her shoulders is a bit unoticale!  yay!  She's so near finished!  why'd I wait so long to do this!? It's fun!
Horray! And clothing will make it even less noticeable. Maybe try pinning or setting some felt eyes on her face till you like where they sit. then mark and use the plastic ones or whatever you are planning to use.

That's a good eye-dea! (snort.. sorry...) to bad I just wong it (winged it?) they look okay though!
and it looks as though I'd better start rechecking what I type again.. missed a few letters... oops!

WeepingAngel, new head!

I found some at Hobby Lobby. You can see them in the third picture of my post. I think I've seen others use these same glasses for their poppets, too.

I love all the new editions!  I currently have 7 poppets going for different swaps.  And then I have to start a Tank Girl poppet for Lanikins.  Don't worry, she knows it is coming since we are exchanging them he he.  But I can't post pics of any of them yet.  It seems like so much work and I almost wish I had done them one at a time.  I am also going to attempt the eyelid tute for the first time and attempt to make pants again.  I have tried so many things to make it work and can never get them right.

WeepingAngel if you have time I would just make and stuff a new poppet especially since you sounded in love with this guy yourself. But you could just swap the heads and save the one you started for another poppet. He is looking great though.

Belladune I have found the same glasses at acmoore And the local craft store. But if none of those are close http://www.sunshinecrafts.com/dept_view.php?DPath=DOLLS~DPEYEGL&Page=1   http://shop.hobbylobby.com/crafts/doll-making/glasses/  hope that helps

Thanks all for advice on swapping/not swapping out poppet heads -- but luckily I haven't done anything yet, because I decided to outright ask my partner who she would want, and she decided on Badger after all. Huzzah, I don't have to go to Joanns again XD

I have a pants pattern that I made that I would like to share. I don't have a scanner, though. Is there a way to make a pattern in the computer based on what's in in my hands?

you could try drawing it in the regular paint program that comes with most computers then save it and insert it into word with all the writen directions and then maybe try to highlight the whole thing copy it and then past it into a post here and see if that works.
