Lovesclutter, I love your new gal (her eyes are spectacular and I love her dress color) and your new avvy.

Thanks that is so sweet. I just decided to change up the same avatar with mood. Are you going to join us for the 44 center? please.

its turning out much better... i am still not sure about the eyes yet though
It looks to me like the lids aren't far enough down on the eyes. Or the corners of the lashes aren't glued in place far enough. hard to tell since it's blurry but that's my 2 cents.
for getting it glued down better can you use something to hold it in place for a few minutes so the glue can set up?

Lovesclutter- she's pretty. I thought the earrings were a cute touch!

something really wierd is happening with all the threads.. its switched, pg one  is on pg 1031 and page 1031 is on pg one

awkward.. anyhoo, she's turning out better... i think my problem was i did not cut evenly so after sewing there were the little bunched up bits...
has anyone ever used the spiderweb cotton for Halloween as stuffing? i don't want to buy a whole new bag of poly fill just for this i'm thinking i'll just dissect or buy a new one anyways

also do you think i should give her a two piece torso and joint it  that way she would have a more human-like shape and be more flexible, but maybe i should just add wire so it is more smooooooooooooooooth

Definitely don't do a two piece torso, it will look weird.  You can actually wire the whole thing so it looks smooth, they have these new doll armatures made of plastic: http://cgi.ebay.com/doll-Armature--12---14%22_W0QQitemZ360177720709QQcmdZViewItem
You can get them bigger, too.

Before pulling it apart, try stuffing more firmly. Really pack it in, that might make a difference.

That looks like a material fault - how stretchy is the fabric you are using?

Also, a bjd looks like that because it has to, there is no other way to get a solid hunk of resin to articulate like a human.  Cloth is a different medium, and can be smooth and unjointed with the skeleton inside.  The challenge with cloth is to get the features to look as realistic as what can be achieved through a clay sculpt.
