I've got a question, where do you get your eyelashes?
I found a pair in a shop but they were 7 (~ 10$) and that's a bit to much to just cut up...

Some people have found them at dollar stores, I think. I don't know if you have something equivalent where you're located. I used to buy them at the drug store ($4 per pair)...found them with the cosmetics. Recently, I purchased 12 really nice pairs on eBay (from the seller vast_exchange) for $10 + shipping. They also have 4-pair-packs for $4 + shipping (they do ship internationally...12-pack for $10, and $6 for the 4-pack).

I get 90% of mine from walmart. And I buy out whatever they have in stock the week after Halloween. I had about 25-30 pairs and I've still got plenty. Though It's mostly the funky ones that are left right now I've used the "normal" ones almost up. also try costume stores or dime stores if you have them. not sure what the equivalent would be. Ours look like a hurricane happened in the middle of the store. and they have prices from a penny and up. All kinds of random things too.

When I was broke, a wonderful craftster sent me some of her eyelash stash.  Wink

I found some at Target for $2.something.  I never thought to look in the Halloween stuff!

I got a pair of reddish orange lashes in the envie swap, and I cant wait to use them. Eliea really came through to help. Sugarysweet did the same for me when I started. It was so great. I pulled out my stuff today to start a new one.

So I was going through this thread "images only" to get some inspiration.  I saw a wonderful poppet with a Renaissance inspired dress, complete with corset.  It was beautiful!

I think I'll PM Ghilie about the hoodie- I don't trust myself to do a zipper right.

The hoodie I made didn't have a zipper.  Also, I just used a sloper for a BJD doll, no real pattern to share - I used these slopers for a basic guide and cut a hood and pocket.  http://www.houseofresin.net/undead_backup/msd_cad_patterns.htm

Eliea, you must have an awesome wal-mart. I have to remember to look this year! Need to write a sticky and put it on the door 'look for lashes at Wally World'  Wink

Riechan- try ebay and hold out for a good sale. I got a pack of 10 back in Jan. for only $6.50 USD including shipping and handling. It came with a couple of funky pairs, 4 black pairs and a brown pair. You have to wait a while to get them because most of them come from China or other places in Asia, like a lot of the awesome things on ebay do.  Grin
