Ghilie's absolutely right, those pixies are bad news when it comes to fire. We all know they're allied with the imps...

I think the fairies keep me in line. I have a fairy door in my house and I think my fairy keeps me from loosing things! lol.

A firebug pixie poppet would be cute!

I so want to make one of these, but I get so little time to sit at the sewing machine. Has anyone made one of these by hand sewing (which I could do at work at quiet times) and do you think it'd hold up well enough to stuffing? I love everyones stuff, the patterns for clothing are awesome.

You can also joint them from the outside using regular buttons. I've done it for my prim dolls. Look up button jointing on google and you'll find several nice tutes.

It's totally possible to make them by hand, just make your stitches nice and small and I recommend sewing all your seems twice. There have been a few people who've made them by hand and they work out just fine. Smiley Many more hours of sewing but I totally get you with the time issue.
good luck!

Do you mean for the hands and feet? It's not really very hard I think we could walk you through it. Smiley
