And we all love you for that Ghilie. I think poppets are the bestest, most versatile, cutest, cuddliest, and most beautiful things that are on craftster, truly. Your brainchild has made many people very happy, and that's really amazing.

Aww.  I'm gonna cry.

Great job Ghilie I am so glad that you shared. I agree Seraphina_de_Sangre They are so versatile.  My mom wasnt quite sure about what I was wanting to make and she had reservations, that is until I made the first one. She loves them and has all sorts of ideas about things to tweak on them and she is amazed at how they each have different characteristics all from the same pattern.

I am glad to hear others event the originator has leg issues. I guess I will keep trying.
I finished my first mini!  That little dear took twice as long as the others to complete she was just so small I guess harder to stuff and sew. But I love her and I hope so will my sister. Will post pics soon.

I have an idea for a fairy poppet.  Does this look OK for the wings, or is it too sparkly and looks like a 5 year old made it?

I love the wings, love the cute poppet, and love the new ideas being shared with poppet hair!
I personally use freezer paper but I want to do the wig method again. One thing that has been trouble for me though is getting the strands tight when I put them on the wig. Also I tend to get "holes" since I don't crochet tight enough.
Any ideas on that?

The reason I used fusable interfacing instead of tissue paper was becasue I had trouble keeping everything together to get it under my needle.  I tried scotch tape, but it didn't work so well.  Then it hit me.  I can fuse some interfacing to it!  And the best part is, it just sticks enough to keep stuff together and you can rip it off when you're done.

Thanks for the wings comment!  I'm debating whether I should make this poppet a devil or an elemental fire fairy.  I kind of like the fairy idea.
