Man have I gotten behind.. only a few months and you guys already posted 100+ pages! This is a poppet I made a bit ago for a friend's son. As far as I know he's nameless... Said friend requested green with a mohawk, but no boy bits- her son's only 2 years old.

I was in the process of attempting a boobie poppet before I moved, and had problems with some of the seams, so I will be reattempting it once things are all settled from moving. I really find all of the wig attempts interesting- plan on trying it this time. Maybe I'll even venture to try eyelids...

Grats on all of the new gorgeous poppets!

Does anyone have photos of how to sculpt the bellybutton, butt cheeks and ladyparts? I just want to make sure that I understand and am following the instructions right!! Cheesy I'm more of a visual learner than a read-and-do-it learner. Wink

Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=265892.msg2987268#msg2987268

Went to the craft store and got talking to another craftster crafter about my poppet and realized i hadn't put her in this thread yet, so here she is, Autumn.

Here is my poppet:

She loves pets...
she was embarrassed about her hair cause it was only half done so she was bald at the top..so i knitted her a headband
her eyes are made of buttons

Shes made from a sleeper my mom was going to give away but i took it cause it was a cute fabric and really strong and her dress is made from a stained baby shirt

I still haven't named her .. any suggestions ?

I thought for a moment she had an afro! lol. Which would be so cute on a poppet I just might have to try it! She's adorable!

Either stitch it on like you do the hair wefts or use Fabri-tac. The monster I just finished has a faux fur wig that is Fabri-tac glued on. It isn't going anywhere.
