glass eyes are possibly only good if the poppet is for yourself, they scratch really easily and can shatter if the dolls thrown during a tantrum (plus if your younger sister thwaks you with the doll it really hurts and you give her a chinese burn and YOU get punished even though she started it  Angry lmao Cheesy)
The plastic eyes Ive seen are cheaper, and you can get a wider range of colours, plus they seem to hold better

Yah! I've got a story like that too! Aren't sisters great?
I didn't even think of the durability of the glass eyes. That's a good point. You know there are a lot of really good sites on the net that sell this stuff.
Oh! And I am so excited. The Hobby Lobby in my town opened up last week. I LURVE Hobby Lobby!

Hobby Lobby started in Oklahoma, at least their headquarters are there.  So that explains where the stores are.  No stores will be put anywhere that they aren't certain they can get distribution to in a reasonable amount of time.  They also have a home decorating store called Hemispheres and a Bookstore/Teacher Supply Store called Mardel's.  The higher-ups seem okay, but not all managers are fun to work for and you never take home much money since it is spent before you get out the door. Undecided  I used to work at one in charge of Needleworks...That is part of what got me into so many crafts.  They also sent all the customers to me that needed ideas on how to make their ideas work. *sigh* It was fun, but kinda stressful since I'm not good at organizing and I am allergic to the faux grapes/balloons.

Okay, so y'all didn't need to know all that, but I felt like enlightening someone.   Embarrassed Sorry!

If I worked in a Michaels, JoAnn's or Hobby Lobby type store I would quickly end up an indentured servant. For life.  Tongue

Give in to craft, Once you start on it's path, Forever will you be ensnared by the chains of yarn, the bars soap, the balls of batting...Your blood will flow dyes, resins, and etching acid...Your hands long for a hook or needle to aimlessly make ANYTHING.  Your everyday will feed the addiction of I make that MYSELF!
