So, Sneak peek before her official unveiling tomorrow when I can get some great new pics and some more detail on her...

Here's the latest poppet on the block.

She's a bit shy.!

Oooo, I love the white stripe in her hair, and her dress is gorgeous!  Is the material satiny?

Thanks.! Smiley

Yeah the material is a stretch satin.

It's amazing, truly. If I could marry a fabric. That would be the one.

Sadly I don't have enough to make anything usable/wearable from it for myself, and I bought it as a remnant. They don't stock it any more. I was impressed at how good she turned out for my first poppet so I decided she needed a pretty dress. Smiley

I didn't feel like having all black hair, and thought the white would be a nice touch. Kinda wish I did something other than white cause now when I look at her I think cruella de'ville haha. The hair yarn has sparkley bits through it. Looks bad in the pic but great in real life Smiley

She is so cute! And far too fashionable to be Cruella DeVille!  The white streak in her hair is more Stacey London (What Not To Wear).

That dress is gorgeous!

I like the white streak too. I don't think of Cruela, maybe a rock star. I know what you mean about falling in love with material. I have a 2 yard piece that I have so many ideas for, and not enough to do all of the ideas!

I love her dress and the white streak in her hair, too!  Reminds me of Dave Vanian from The Damned Cheesy

she looks great!  did you intentionally put her eyes way higher up than usual poppets for a certain effect?  it gives her a very different expression.

I love the new poppet. The hair is great and that dress is killer. Great job!

On the "Count Manilow" front: he was put together today. I even made boy bits for him and they turned out way better than I thought they would. I know it is strange to be so proud of how that particular part of a poppet turned out, but hey it was my first go at them.  Roll Eyes I'll be finishing his outfit tonight or tomorrow and posting pics before I have to send him away.

She's beautiful!  The white stripe is a wonderful way to accentuate the tone-on-tone effect!  Cheesy But I REALLY love her dress, beautiful material.  I wish I had a dress out of that material for myself! Grin

Can't wait to see him. Did you use the arms from the Elenore pattern for the human hands? I told my sis about the green Manilow poppet. We had a good laugh.
