Hey guys, I know this is unrelated, but who was looking for the guitar magazine pages?  I was thinking of you today when I saw some Guitar World posters in my brothers garbage.  I grabbed them out and was like, "Don't throw these away!  I know a crafter who needs them!"

that would totally push me over the edge to making a first poppet, if it were literary.
(this is a vote for yes)

first springs to mind Edgar Allan Poe, also TS Elliot would be good, what if he were a cat?!
but i think if i manage to do this one, i would go with someone a little less well-known in the English speaking world.  just for variety.

I love Edgar Allen Poe!
I think it should not be limited to poppets tho. Open it up a little more.

I'll be taking a break from poppeting for a little while. There's just too much other stuff I have to do. I'll be checking the thread and my pms though, so don't count me out!

Does manga count as a literary poppet?  I finished my first poppet!

Seen here holding her inspiration.  I love her so much!  I goofed on a bunch of things, but she still turned out pretty cute to me.  Heh, I sewed her body backwards, so she has a wee little pot belly.

I had a customer in today that is a wonderful woman and she inspired me to make her a poppet. It will be another one like Teeny (only 6 in.). She said she has a doll house, but no doll to put in it, Me to the rescue!  Grin

Hopefully I'll get to start her tomorrow!

I'll also be making Teeny her own thread, since she decided she likes being naked  Shocked

I'll miss you Craftewoman, but I totally agree, I've signed up for 2 swaps, and although I'll making poppets, it'll be slow going!

Take some time to relax CW, we know you need it!
