Maude's undergarments are super cute! I have always loved bloomers. Smiley
And I love mrs lovett! I have not seen the movie yet but I want to really badly!
I love her hair though! I'm sure I"ll love more about her once she's "done" but you've done an awesome job so far! I had thought of trying the same thing for jointed arms/legs I just haven't done it and probably won't for a while! lol. However now I know who to hit up for help when I do!

Its so much fun doing your first poppet, tip to remember - dont compare yourself to anyone else on here lol  Grin I was kind of gutted when I made my first one cos shes didnt look like Ghillies or Craftewomans or any of the other awesome poppets, but my darling other half pointed out that shes still pretty cool. Although hes not too sure about my minis  Grin I think he can see me getting addicted and putting them everywhere, and hes right. Im trying to work out how to make a warcraft one  Roll Eyes (he loves warcraft, I love to mock warcraft)

Hahaha! Thanks for the compliment! You should have seen my first...wait, you can go look at my profile. You'll see I've gotten mucho better!

I love Maud's new clothes! Sweet!

CC, I've not seen the movie, don't intend to, too much gore for me. Your character looks great, from what I've seen of the trailers.

The one in my avatar is made from alovasuede.  The ears are longer and thinner - she was meant to be a fairy but insisted on not being one.  I swear they talk to you!   Grin

They do talk! All the poppets I've made have told me their names and picked different aspects of themselves. At least I know I'm not crazy and that they talk to other people too!  Grin Hubby still thinks I'm crazy though  Wink

If you really want to make a poppet and want to give it to someone have you tried the hospital or old folks homes? In NZ you can donate teddybears to Mums and Dads who have lost their babies so they dont leave empty handed and Im sure alot of kids would love something to cuddle while they are sick, Ive seen more than one dolly be given 'shots' at the same time as her little mother. People at the old folks homes tend to just want someone to talk to so if you can spare 20 minutes while dropping the poppet off, most places (at least here in NZ) dont seem to mind. That way you get to spread the poppety love as well  Grin
