I use a small "dotter" paintbrush and a thin "Liner" paintbrush.

When I painted miniatures I used to buy really cheap paintbrushes and cut them to what I wanted, including trimming down to a few bristles to get uber fine details...

When I paint my Poppets eyes on I use a cut out to trace, might be able to do similar for tats...

alrighty. So I found a new material (and one of myshirts seems to have lost a sleave, strange  ;Dlucky it didnt fit any way) so have been trying to sew my newist tiny poppet, with the original pattern. Its been fun, Im starting to pull my hair out, naturally the material has stretch  Roll Eyes and sadly I pulled a led so its longer than I had planned but neh, its all good

again its in cm. So is that tiny enough? or should I try smaller  Grin hoping to finish the rest of her later on tonight, or tomorrow. My cats just want to play though so it makes it hard - rainy day equals bored kittys and Im the nice parent who will play with them and they want to play with the pieces of fabric and my thread

So I finished Teeny this morning. I'm not giving her her own thread until she has some clothes, but here she is in all her naked glory!

Her eyes are some 6mm clear ones that I painted a tropical sparkly blue and added tiny eyelids and lashes. Her hair is some handspun made by nevermore! Her wings are some feather butterflys I glued back to back and attatched to her with velcro so they can come off when I need to dress her. She is made usuing the original pattern. She does also have a tail. She is fully jointed. I used some tiny shank buttons from my button jar! I'll do some more photos of her when she gets her own thread.

Saying goodmorning to mr. gnome!
