Happy Birthday ghilie and funkysockmonkey!  And yay for getting out!  What are your plans for after you're done out-processing?

Actually, I am going to accept a government position doing exactly the same job as I am doing now.  I am just going to be able to call in sick and wear skirts now.

And thanks!

Happy b'days and congrats ghilie lots of changes all at once in your life.

back on topic...
Which reminds me....
Is alova suede washable? I haven't ever actually bought any off the roll to look at. I've been thinking about making a baby/toddler safe poppet for gifts and was wondering. I suppose I could always use fleece or flannel....

I believe the alova suede is washable. Sometimes water makes things funky. Test your scraps. Like I said a couple of days ago I bought a Velux baby blanket that I think would be good for poppets. I think I can get 2 poppets for $1. I love fleece.

I finally made some clothes for my poppet.. now I just need to name her. Does anyone know any good web pages that list names by meanings?

Awesome! Being able to call in sick is nice. I don't have that luxury unless I'm pretty much about to die. Not becasue I can't but because no one else can do my job! I've been looking for someone to train to do it part time so I can get sick, but it hasn't happened yet! lol.

Thanks for the washing tips guys. I have a few scraps I can test which I just might throw in the washer with the next load.
I know I can get fleece and flannel fairly cheep in nearly every color so If the alova doesn't work I'll have to do that.

Does anyone know what the "name" of the thinner fleece is? I've been trying to figure it out. All I know is it's usually less expensive, and thinner becasue of this perhaps?

She's so sweet. No idea about web pages. She has a sort of Raggedy Ann quality about her. Does she have a heart?

I would just google baby names. Most of those websites have a feature where you can search by meaning. I use that when I name my pets and poppets too.  Grin

She's great! I love the contrast between the bright colored hair and the light skin.
