Okay! You don't have to twist my arm.  Grin

Here's Dotty the Dalmation poppet:

I couldn't resist the fire hydrant shot. Since it's in my yard, I might as well make some use of it, right? LOL!

Here's some shot's of her face. I modified the pattern a bit to make it more doggieish.

Sick of poppets? We wouldn't still be posting in this thread if that were the case!
She looks great!

If I finish my sewing project for my SIL's birthday and the loom knitting project I can get back to poppets.

Has anyone thought of a bride and groom poppet pair? I have two good friends getting married in october, I've been trying to think of what to make them since I love her to pieces and I've known him since I got married.
Problem is he has a beard. Not like 5 o clock shadow either a real beard. It's not super long but I have no idea how to go about that! lol.
Perhaps it would be best for times sake to stick with a blanket and save the poppets for the anniversary. Smiley

I have considered doing a bride and groom poppet but I have yet to make a poppet at all! I'm getting married in 6 weeks and I thought it would be a great way to celebrate our marriage plus I'm dying to see what my dress would look like on a poppet!

How long is the beard? If it's long you could still welft it or use fur and barber it up to be the appropriate length. With a little acrylic for the sideburns, I think it would look great.
