I have to say that this guy made me smile!

Poppeteers, check your mailboxes for the revised patterns. Roll Eyes

I've been doing some research for the 50's style dress. Do you want a poodle skirt with blouse and jacket? If so the patterns are already there. Do you want a cocktail dress? I was thinking something with a princess seams bust, cap sleeves, and a full skirt with crinoline. Rockabilly style. Google some pics and send me some links of what you like.

I'm making my mom a 50's style poppet for valentines day, so any patterns like that would be great! Grin

that stripey guy is so great!

i'm liking this 50's outfit here, it's just a circle skirt with a simple belt and the blouse is like a tshirt.

alright, this doll is together and i've got the hair wefts set up (after half an hour of pulling off teensy bits of tape, whew!), i have to pick up the young man from school but hopefully i'll get the hair on tonight and be able to post pics.
boy, did i ever learn a LOT with this first one. no wonder you can't just make one.
oh, and the wee princess is VERY interested in her too, i'll have to make a fleece version for her that i can put into the washing machine. wonder what kind of hair will work for that, hmm. got any ideas? so far all that's coming to mind is strips of fleece. i might do just that, i have a LOT of fleece! no need to do wefts either, i can just cut a rectangle and fringe it.

That's my red poppet.

Right, I remember them--they are both so adorable!  I love the big eyes.

Huh?  Mine doesn't have eyes yet.  I think you were referring to the poppets that come up on page 3 when you select images only.

My poppet is faceless, hairless and naked at the moment.  I hope to change that this week.

Here's pictures of some of my poppet's new clothes.  I seem to be completely oblivious to tail-hole creation.  I finish, put on the clothing and think 'it's a good thing her tail sits really high!'  Her 'waistline' seems to be just below her tail.  PHEW!  She's still wearing the same handkerchief hem shirt.  I want to make her a baby doll top this week.

Wait, where did those come from?  I swear I didn't go to the craft store, honest!

Let the baby crafting commence!  Cheesy
