Crafty Canadian, You rock!!! I love your raccoon!

Kiwidragons, I like the mod on the halter dress. The fabric is perfect for that poppet.

I know I'm not supposed to be spending more money on poppets right now, but I found the greatest fabrics for clothes in the remnant bin at my Walmart. Wahooo! Poppet clothes making party!!!

So I was too impatient to wait for my supplies to be shipped to me, so I started a 3/4 size for my mom.  I was making progress, but my last sewing machine needle broke!!!  I won't be able to get any till Tuesday night...if Wal Mart carries needles.  Thats 3 days with of poppet making!

I've already tried hand sewing...it looks BAD!

KiwiDragons, that dress is so cute!  I hope your friend likes her poppet, let us know.

I also love that racoon--they are so adorable anyway, but once you cross it with a poppet?  Great!

I am wondering something, though--why is it that when you are making a poppet for yourself, they turn out great, but when you make one for someone else, and want it to be all perfect, that is when there are dozens of mistakes?  Huh  Like...feet with two toes on the ends and none in between?  Or a leg where the button is sitting oddly, but you only realize it when you have the leg attached and it keeps trying to turn to the inside?  *sigh*

I wonder at what page the mods start shutting down threads.  This worries me...  Undecided

Well, if necessary, we could always start the poppetalong 2, then 3, then 4...  Cheesy

I made some clothing tonight! I am getting ready for the I LOVE MY POPPET SWAP! Join if you haven't yet!! Sorry if I have been so quiet here! I just don't have much to say with so much chatting going on!
Her is some clothing. they are a little small on my girl because she is tad bigger then the normal size because of the fabric I used!

I was thinking of adding roushing and some straps. What do you all think?
