Hmmm...this might be a stupid question-but what is a web ring? Do you need an "all-Poppet" blog to participate? Do you get junk mail? I have a craft blog, but it's not solely dedicated to poppets-should I make a poppet blog? Thanks for help!
Nope. No poppets even have to be made to join. I crated it and I haven't' even cut mine out of the fabric yet!
A web ring is basically a list of blogs all connected by the little html code. So you can click one button on the little code and go from blog to blog to blog in a circle.
I'm the only one getting e-mailed since I created it. And that's just to let me know I need to approve someone for the ring.
Think of it sort of like those craft-a-long buttons that many blogs have in thier sidebar. You may be a part of a crochet squares craft-a-long but obviously you'd get bored making just squares. Smiley

Remember though the ring doesn't work unless you post the html in your blog's sidebar somewhere!

So, like if I wanted to use my Myspace I could do that?
So long as you can put the html code somewhere where it can be seen, then that's fine!  Smiley Otherwise the ring won't work.

I admit I don't even stick to my eyelid tut anymore, I superglued the eyelids on the last 2 Poppets I made. I look back at the tut I made and I just want to smack myself in the forhead in embarrassment!

I just sent in my info for the Poppet Swap! Whoo hoo!! Thats two swaps for me now!!

Do you use the alova suede and just paint it, and then superglue them on?

What about cutting them off of the eyelash yarn? They're already the right size, and you get a TON for a few dollars.

I've done this before with some success, it's hard to get a nice looking curly eyelash, but it give a good effect
Pink had eyelash yarn eyelashes

Hope this helps

Referring to Pretty in Pink and Duckie. He was they strawberry blond nerdy guy with braces who took her panties to show his friends, right?

hehee, no you are thinking of 16 candles and Anthony Michael Hall (dead zone).

Duckie is played by John Cryer (from 2 and a 1/2  men)
