I was pretty lucky to find all of that fabric. Half of it was because the lady cutting the fabric said, "Is this the 80% stuff?" and when I said, "No..." she not only walked over to show me where all of it was, she also carried all of the bolts over to the cutting table! Obviously, it wasn't busy at all- in the 20 minutes it took to cut all of my fabric, only one other customer came up to get fabric cut. And, while she was cutting the fabric out, she kept suggesting other things for me to look at (like the container of thread). It was great!

And, MonkeyThumb, perhaps some of my extra fabric will make it into the swap... Wink

ok, so i found some other fabric on the joann website....it is "Anti Pill Fleece"  i wanted to know if anyone got fleece, if it worked, and if it streetched too much for use....thanks!

I made mine out of microfleece.  It does have a bit more stretch in one direction than the other, so you do have to make sure all your pieces are cut on the same grain. Also, it helps to use a really tiny stitch length, like ghilie says in the instructions, that should keep seams from busting open when you're stuffing.  I didn't have any problems with it at all, easy to sew and sculpt. Hope that helps!

can you please ask that Joannes franchise to open one in my city OHPLEASE? *cries* soooo jealous of craftsters being able to gather so much cool stuff at once... you spent on all that stuff the same amount of money that 1 meter of suede costs in the only fabric shop here! *cries some more*

annamhudson, I agree, the straight hair looks great on her, and the little sparkles on the hair go very nicely with the body sparkles.
the unicorn is great too, I especially love the toes Grin
