ghilie, you are not supposed to change your icon. I was like who is saying that! And then someone commented and I was like she didn't say anything, did i miss it. And then I realized you changed it again! Stop doing that...lol! Your icon should be a pic of your poppets anyways. The one with le Tigre and your mouse would be great!

But my puppy is cute and he needs to be seen!   Grin

Your puppy is cute though!!

Erggg... I have been sleeping since 6:20pm YESTERDAY... I have strep... yick.Which sucks because I am leaving for AZ on friday, so do you think I have even been able to clean house and do laundry to pack? No. Blar. I had like 5 pages of catching up.

So on that note, what if you use the oil that comes with Electric Shavers? Could you oil your machine with that? It seems like you could...

Also, I will change my avatar to Poppets if YOU ALL DO!!! HAHA!

Awesome lizard Poppet..... As I said in the T,D&P's thread, I don't think there could be any better hair than the hair you picked! And those eyes are WAYYY lizardy.

A missing, or stolen, or a lost then found Poppet? Tragic. If it was stolen, at least you made something people desire... doesn't make it right.... But, I would say look at it MonkeyThumbs way.

......... off to take my Amoxycillin..... ladies, I am sure you know what problems occur from taking THAT.. Undecided

Oh Kasey, I feel for you! I get strep every year. If you eat yogurt with acidophilus in it, it will help THAT problem.  Wink

As for the lost and found idea, that's kinda what I thought. Since it hasn't been turned in, someone just thought it was cool. Someone here said that I needed to make my poppet for my 10 month old with safety eyes and no buttons on the clothes, so I guess it just wasn't meant to be that Cherry was to be Katie's poppet. It's okay. She'll never know the difference anyway.

oh yes, safety eyes for sure craftewoman! at that age it's straight into the mouth with Everything!

MK do take some acidophilus but only after your round of antibiotics is through. the pills will kill it off as soon as you take it so don't waste your money until they are finished. and i'm SURE you know this already but take all of your antibiotics even if you start to feel better. that's really important.

oh ghilie, she is just so super beautiful. *love*

ok, all of my swaps are officially finished (just one partner overseas that hasn't received and i haven't received from yet), the owl swap send out isn't until end of jan and the poppet swap send out is after that. BUT i still have a pile of stuff to make for xmas AND some stuff after the 25th to work on for relatives that we won't see until new year. and then a trip to the city, to a cottage, to some friends places here and there, and finally home again. and then sign ups for the poppet swap start.

guys WHEN am i ever going to have time to finish my poppet? it's not a craft i can do in the car, i am frustrated! darn it!
