Sorry no new photos of my red poppet.  I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to do any more work on her.    I hope to finishing her soon after I finish crafting a few Christmas gifts.

Yes, I have been lurking...*looks guilty*.... But, I started my poppet yesterday!! I had to wait till my exams were over, which thankfully they now are, until I could start. The only fabric I could find in the shop was a dark red, which I spose would have worked, but I didn't like it so much. Then yesterday I was rifling through my mums fabric stash, and found this amazing royal blue colour velour type material, which I started making my poppet out of. The sewing machine is on its way out (needs a service) so it took much longer than it should have, but I am almost up to the finishing touches! Will take pics when she is done later today! So excited. Oh yeah, she is 70% of the size of the original poppet (same as one of irasema's poppets?). Anyway, will post pictures soon!  Wink Love all the poppets which have been made so far, they are so inspiring!

This time of year is hard, I know.  I have a poppet 1/3 of the way done, wanting my attention... but alas.  Christmas.

Well I finishe my 2nd poppet. I ended up redoing her head anyways cause I couldn't stand it wonky. But then it ended up wonky in a different way. Drive me crazy. I am not sure what I did wrong. But anyways the colors in this is way off. If you back and look at the wonky head that is more true to the color.

The person I made it for loves it! She wanted one when she saw my first one. But she doesn't mind the difference. So she is going to make me clothing since I made her the doll! How sweet is that!

Aw, I like your color combo.  Sometimes the head does that when you lay the pieces out with the stretch going side to side instead of up and down.
