I would like to join the poppet along too please :3

looks like it would be a lot of fun!
PM ghilie (first page of thread) with your email address for the pattern. Welcome to craftster, I see this is your first post so please spend that $12 and become a friend. You will be so addidted. SO A BIG WELCOME.

Aqua, she is really really good, and you did a good job with the cleavage. You are getting better and better each time, just like me. The hair and that crocheted net over it are AWESOME. I mean REALLY AWESOME. So nice job styling the hair. But with a hook you are one dangerous craftster.

So welcome Princess Claira to the poppet family. Love the shots.

I am making a little angel poppet for my sister that passed at 6 months for my mom for her birthday, and this little baby poppet will have wings. There are a lot of posts here for different, regular dragonly wings, fairie wings, and angel wings. I'm going to start with pipe cleaners and shiny materials for mine. I may hand stitch with floss on the wings. So much info out there, and craftewoman has done some awesome wings too.

Your princess is your best yet. Aren't these dolls addictive.

I replied in another post I shared the yarn you sent. Went to a good cause thought. <3

I thought I'd share something with you.  I've figured out 90% of the poppet hair with Saran/Nylon doll hair method and posted a tutorial.  I figured that at least one of you would like to know how to do it.  Or maybe are just curious as to the 'torture' I put myself through Wink

Be that as it may, the tutorial is located here.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know!!

It's in two posts and has a LOT of pictures, so be warned that it'll most likely be a slow loader.  Cheesy

So I had an idea of making shank buttons out of some relatively stiff wire and regular buttons...In my brain it works. It should work when I put it together, the question is do you guys think that the buttons would hold up and not break?

You should try them and put them through a stress test.
