Ok about the bunny ear question. I made 2 with short poseable stick up in the air ears and I like the long floppy ears for any future one.  I think they would be more child friendly. Live and learn.

If using the kimono pattern just remember to make accommodations for the large hips on the poppets. That pattern could be used just adjust for the hips I think.
Someone sent me this awhile ago. I cant remember when or by who but it might help. They said that you have to make the hip larger for the poppets as well.

omg, have you all been using my poppet kimono? that's my pattern! haha i almost feel famous now... is it possible to be giddy with pride? yay

btw, the original post is on page 72 of this thread, there are more instructions if you need em... i admit my poppet was skinny, so you indeed may have to increase the seams out a bit for hips

I like it think it came out great.  I also like the fabric of it.

Thank you for opion's on ears I think I am going todo long ears, I personally like them better.  And you never know my son might just try and win her back for me.

Also I forgot to post the picture of the girl I made my niece as a present for her birthday party which was almost a month after her birthday I had already given her a gift on her birthday so this was an extra

She did tell me her name but I forgot so I will have to ask her again at cheerleading practice.  This is one of two that I have to make a cheerleading outfit for soon.

Amigurl that is awesome and looks so well tailored. I definitely need to practice my sewing skills.

Kim D, I love her, something about a tealish poppet always looks so beautiful. While I love fire colors, I also feel soothed by the water girls. Great. Hope you niece enjoys her.

I've made 2 poppet kimono's. 1 long and 1 short. I haven't posted the girl wearing the short kimono on here yet so I'll do that now before work. I didn't use a pattern for mine. Just draping and a basic knowledge of how they go together.

KimD- cute poppet!

Thanks for all the compliments, and thanks for sharing the pattern, wtpdesigns!  If anyone wants to try their hand at a kimono and needs some help, let me know.  I may try using actual "kimono" type fabric next.  I'm kind of afraid to.  LOL.

AlwaysInspired- Cherry is adorable!  I want to steal her.
