For fun furr-

I hear it also helps if you can make a mock-pattern for the headpeice, do the freezy thing, then turn it over so you can see the underside (without the fur) and use a straight razor or a box razor to cut it.

You get a lot less fur shedding all over if you don't use scissors.
Or at least that's what I hear Cheesy
I've heard that too.It does help but I still had a lot of shedding when I made my husbands Tribble. My hope is that between the freezer and this method I can get the least amount of shedding.
I have this soft fluffy white fabric that is similar to faux fur I've had for awhile but It's in a bag becasue it sheds so bad. So we will see how this works!
I have to get the pink/purple poppets done first.....

averyg- what about gluing a snap to the center of her back and her wings? I think e-6000 says it can be washed and still hold so if that's true that might work!

Amigurl55-- I think that dress is beautiful, I don't see any flaws at all.

averyg-- ooer, sparkly! And if not a snap, what about velcro?

ghilie-- can't wait to see, whatever you decide I'm sure it will be stunning!

I used velcro for Lollie my goth lolita poppet's wings. It worked great! Also my poppet Fable has velcro on wings!

Woo!  Featured!

Well, the satin I used likes to unravel.  So much so that the dress is falling apart.  I think I'll make the same dress with a different fabric.  Also, you couldn't see the poppet's butt in the pic, but it was really tight in the butt and it looked kind of funny.  But thanks for all the compliments!

Why can't you put a snap on, and when the wings are off, use another snap top that has been embellished as a place holder. It could have ribbons or something hanging off. Just an idea, and I'm still on first cup of coffee.

Finished a big boy last night, but he is a little too big in some areas and may need a retro fit. He is Patience's size. If I can get some clothes made I'll post him.
