Amigurl- Are you going to make him any boxers/briefs?  That would be cute!

Ohh, little poppet boxers would be the cutest!

Great poppets all around! I'm working on a large poppet project (consisting of 7 poppets) and this thread always keeps me inspired!

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

it doesn't really matter as long as you cut all the pieces in the same direction.  Both ways are correct, and give you a little different results.  If you cut the piece with the stretch going across, you get a chubby doll, and if you cut the piece with the stretch going lengthwise, you get a taller, thinner, doll.

I always cut it with the stretch going across.  I guess it doesn't matter.

I think my boy is going to get boxers.  I made him some pants, but they don't fit right because he's got a different body shape than the girls.  I'm out of any type of fabric that would be suitable for boy pants, but I have some fabrics that would make cute boxers.

I have some pics, I can post them if everyone wants to see.

I'm sure your poppet will turn out fine as long as you cut all the pieces with the stretch going the same way.  Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I just received this beautiful girl from Amigurl who I am doing a personal swap. She was formerly her "Little Old Lady" poppet, but she has a new outfit and name here:
