I have an idea for a fairy poppet.  Does this look OK for the wings, or is it too sparkly and looks like a 5 year old made it?

I love the wings, love the cute poppet, and love the new ideas being shared with poppet hair!
I personally use freezer paper but I want to do the wig method again. One thing that has been trouble for me though is getting the strands tight when I put them on the wig. Also I tend to get "holes" since I don't crochet tight enough.
Any ideas on that?

The reason I used fusable interfacing instead of tissue paper was becasue I had trouble keeping everything together to get it under my needle.  I tried scotch tape, but it didn't work so well.  Then it hit me.  I can fuse some interfacing to it!  And the best part is, it just sticks enough to keep stuff together and you can rip it off when you're done.

Thanks for the wings comment!  I'm debating whether I should make this poppet a devil or an elemental fire fairy.  I kind of like the fairy idea.

I will have to try the interfacing next time. I was wondering if anyone had used any ears besides the ears for the regular poppet, bunny poppet or the boobie poppet?  If so what were they and did you like them?  Also have you drawn them out?

Show me your favorite poppet I was just wanting some added inspiration.

Has anyone finished their challenge for the circus poppets?

In using interfacing for the hair, do you fuse it to both sides or just one side? Hair is still my biggest problem in poppet making.
