sew the back halves together down the bump side. Then place your ears in the middle like a sandwich and sew around til the hole you stick the neck through is open. At least thats what I do.

I also always mark a T on the top of each of those four pieces so I know which way they go. ^-^

Hope that helps!

This is showing the good side im not sure which way that pointy end goes, the bit up on the very top of the head. Huh Embarrassed
You are so close. I'm going to draw on your photo's to help you see where they are supposed to go. Smiley

Hopefully that helps. Read and do the part in green first. then in red.
Edited to add; I just noticed that my image software messed up the green text so here is what it is supposed to say:
Sew back of head together along green line, leaving an opening for turning and inserting neck in spaces marked with vertical lines.
then you sew together along the red lines.
Make sure to turn he front back wrong side out before you sew the back of the head on. Smiley

Thanks Eliea, I just pinned those pieces together and they fit perfect and just by looking at it unpinned it didnt look like it would fit if you know what I mean.
I think the hair would be easy to do,there were step by step instructions for it,and it looks easy(i hope). Cheesy

It's super easy. If you have freezer paper follow the directions for wrapping it around a book then use the freezer paper to hold everything together. (there are directions for this somewhere in this thread.) If you don't have any pm me and I'll be happy to send you some for hair wefts. It's sooooo much easier to use than tape.

You can also use tissue paper or any paper that will tear easily when you are ready to remove it.

I share your enthusiasm, mhkitty.  Cheesy

I had to get my poor poppet out of sight so that I can tend to the stinky kitchen.  Her hair is so soft I just want to hang out with her and pet her head.  I didn't do hair wefts because I like to do things the hard way, I painstakingly sewed each piece on by hand.  It took a few hours.  I have custom orders to do for Etsy and I just wanna make poppet clothes.

What a great way to boost creativity, my fabric box has never looked so inviting.

I've tried that too. I actually have tried every option listed in the thread just to try them all! lol. I definitely like freezer paper way better.
