Holy crust, this thread has gotten huge!  I like the red riding hood poppet.

I've decided I'm crazy and I'm going to attempt to make my blood elf warrior from WoW in poppet form.  I haven't made a poppet in a long time, and I miss it.  I've got the clothes patterns bookmarked, I've got the boot tut bookmarked, and I've got my Elenore pattern.  The only thing I'm worried about is the ears and antennae things.  And the hair.  I'm not very good at hair.

I've been goofing around with this Siamese for months now.  Her halter dress is too small for her in certain key areas, so I'll end up remaking it.

Also, I got my hands on some ugly porcelain dolls and I peeled their wigs off by heating the glue up with a blow dryer.  Kitty likes her blonde pigtails  Cheesy  Shoes are from Walmart's new doll line and fit perfectly!

What a great idea to use the hair from a porcelain doll! She looks great in her braids.

Approaching the finish line on a doll for my sister-in-law.  I promised I'd make her one back in February and got around to actually working on it a couple months ago.  This morning I finished sewing up the pants.  She's 99% ready to go, just need to add snaps to the clothing and attach the wig.

Hey! Long time no see! :3

Well let me show you what I am making!

I got asked to make someone a Fluttershy from the Equestria Girls movie. I am in the middle of a move and couldn't find the yellow I needed. So I grabbed some yellow flannel. Never again. never never. So much fray check. I also had to use Aileen's Fabric fusion for her eyes.

Well she just needs dressed (working on that today) and she'll be ready to go to her new home!

Shy is wearing some of my bjd clothes. She didn't want to be naked.

Flannel is a nightmare for poppet making, and forget those cute poseable fingers....I tried using flannel once....my end result was so deformed and freaky looking after all the patching frays n such I gave up and trashed it....it was to pitiful to even keep for halloween >.>

You must have done good making fluttershy though, my 2 1/2 year old is over here screamin "Fluttttershyyyyy" XD

I've been wanting to make this guy for a while but just found the materials in my stash and finally made him.

This cute little fellow is Yarne from Fire Emblem: Awakening. I made him for my sister. We're both in love with him because he's a BUNNY warrior. I also happen to dig his name. What crocheter can resist a cutie with a name like that?
If you want to know more about him, go here.
