You can use craft velour. I've used it before.

I haven't used freezer paper in quite some time! I've traced the pattern out on cardstock and I use a fine tip pen to trace on my fabric!
Does anyone have the gnome modification? I had it once, but my computer died 2x since then. I've promised my sister a Bilbo Baggins and the gnome would be perfect for a hobbit!

I'd be up for a swap! I even managed to get some freezer paper on Amazon (for a truly offensive price, but oh well) that should come in handy for various crafting projects. Now once I get home (currently at the family seat for xmas) I can actually make my first poppet...

I found freezer paper in Australia at USA Foods. But its $20 a roll and $15 for postage.

Otherwise we can buy it at Spotlight for incredibly outrageous.prices.

Thank you cloned bravo!!!

Normally I use tracing paper, trace out my pattern and transfer it to a cardboard cereal box, then use that as my pattern, but with this on it may be a bit tricky!!!

I can not wait until it arrives!! I am also waiting on eyes, eyelashes, craft velour and shank buttons to arrive!!!! Then I will be set. Ohhh and I ordered some E6000 glue and fabri-tac from Sassy bears which should arrive soon Smiley

Yay I can not wait to get on the poppet bandwagon Smiley

I'm hoping that freezer paper will solve that 'damn you, slightly stretchy fabric, would you stop being unevenly stretched and making my seams all puckered!' issue that I have whenever I work with knitted fabrics! And now I want to craft and I can't poppet because my supplies are all at home... Ah well, time to raid the sister's fabric stash and make that knitting needle roll I've been planning.

So what kind of a swap are we thinking we want? Because the new year is only a couple days away.
