I've had a two headed rabbit poppet on my sewing table for the better part of a year.

Oh gosh!
Well you must finish it now since we are all prolly dying to see what it looks like!

I know is it a poppet with two heads or is it a poppet that has two possibilities for a head?

ooohhh...that'd be a lot of wefting! (which is my least fave part!) That must've taken some figuring out...so both heads will fit and not be scrunched or jammed together...cool!!

So my husband has been bugging me to start selling the stuff I make and he wanted me to post a question. Have any of you sold your poppets and if so how much did you sell them for?  I keep telling him since it is a free pattern it isnt something I can sell but was wondering everyone elses take on this?

you can sell them if you want but I find people don't want to pay what they're worth.  People have offered me  20-25 dollars, which translates to a dollar fifty an hour not including supplies.

I've seen Waldorf dolls in boutique shops go for $80+ but dunno who actually buys them.  Ghilie's right, unless you have a fanatic following or can get into some upscale shop, they won't be worth the time and materials (and love and care!) you put into them.  I think the little dinosaur you crafted may have some draw tho.  Otherwise, seems to me like doll crafters do more commissions and workshops.
