I have 3 sewn and one stuffed right now but I cant get the groove of doing them. One needs to be done for the end of Feb. and the others need done when I get them done. I dont know why but I do better with a time deadline. But they are to be enjoyed right.
One is to be a ringmaster for my mom and one is to be a Link from Legend of Zelda (this one is taking a while because my husband is "helping" pick everything out and giving his opinion to me every step. He informed me once it was completely stuffed that HIS Link needed different color skin.

I don't think many of us would get these poppets done if we didn't have the deadlines we get from swaps.

I have one ready almost to send for a current glitter swap and one to make for Amigurl, but I have that one cut and ready to sew. LOL

I also need to make one for Panda so maybe this weekend my family will not get in the way of my crafting.

That would be me all right, I love crafting for other people, but when it comes to myself, I never seem to finish anything Undecided Take my first poppet for instance, the poor girl isn't jointed yet, it would take me like ten minutes to finish her, but I just haven't made the time. At least I made her an outfit...even though it is a bit too short on her...

I am totally the same way. I'm not in a swap and I'm not working on a project, but it seems that I can't get the crafting for myself done.

At least I am going to try and design a new poppet.

Here's to hoping I can finish her.

Love her!

I have two fully stuff bodies sitting here.  I need to get the eyes (should be in the mail soon) so they can have heads.  I should be working on their clothes though.  I just am not as excited about clothes, but they just won't look right in the cute dresses that SugarySweet made for me.  Oh, and one of them needs bat wings....yes BAT wings.  My daughter was VERY clear about her Bat Poppet she wanted me to make LOL

I think that bat wings would be super fun to make.
Usually I buy butterful wings at the dollar store for my fairy poppets...
But I feel like bat wings would be something manageable to make...
Like with a black pair of nylons and a clothes hanger...
I def. want to see how the batty girl would turn out!

I made black wired bat wings from some black alova for one of my poppets. Lolita had them and they were detachable. Very fun!
