Wow, great job! Is that felt? Felt is a pain for turning Undecided Of course the felt doll I recently made was a modified poppet with a larger nose, slimmer face and head, and small, slim body...ridiculous for felt!

Thanks guys! She's actually fleece. I probably could've found the suede, but I have quite a bit of fleece laying around the house so I figured I'd use it for now.  Smiley

Ok finally got that human ear pattern scanned:

What I did is traced it onto freezer paper and ironed it onto fabric. Then stitched around it from horizontal line to horizontal line. Leave the tiny bit in between open for turning. Once I turned it right side out I lightly ironed it to make it hold it's shape. (basically I just barely stitched on the straight eged of the ear, and then all the way around the curve.)
I've included my ruler in the picture to help with size. Smiley
It's sideways but hope that helps!

okay, don't know if you guys can help but:
there was once someone on craftster who linked to a flickr page of a lady that makes dolls similar to poppets and she gave patterns for modifications (elf, fairy etc)
i was wondering if anyone had it?

I STILL haven't made my poppet Roll Eyes

I told myself once I finish the PFSS swap I could start one.  I am almost done!

I have all my supplies (at least I think the eyes are correct) and my pattern all printed out.  I cannot wait to start.  the inspiration here is incredible.

i'm almost finished my first poppet. it took awhile since i'm hand sewing her,she still needs hair, eyelashes and an outfit. i think i attached her legs a little high, she kinda looks hippy maybe i'll reattach them a little lower. anyways she was a lot of fun to make. i'm already thinking of ideas for the next one! Smiley here she is trying on a wig that she borrowed from my BJD but i think she needs a wig of her own.thanks for looking Cheesy
