Maybe you can 'tenderize' it with a rubber hammer. I would cover the fabric with another tho, so no transfer. Cool

you could try washing the fabric.  maybe it will loosen up after being in the wash.

That's what I'd do. That will wash the finishing stiffener out and make it softer at least.

So I finished my gigantic poppet about a week and a half ago and last Thursday I dropped her off at the news station that the contest is being held at. I am going to post the her in all of her finished glory on Tuesday (too many exams right now to study for right now Undecided), but here is a sneak peak of her until then Wink :
