Flying ferret, that's really good!  And is that a papillion I spy as your avatar?

Why, thank you, Ghilie!
That's my "baby," Pixie.  She's actually a pomeranian although her unusual coloring really does make her look like a papillion.  Cheesy

First your username is the best(totally made of win and awesome.) Second cute puppy! Give her a cuddle for me! (I want a tiny dog but hubby says we have to many animals. which is true but I will have one eventually)

Third your poppet is looking great. They always look odd till they have hair so no worries she's perfect! You're doing awesome.

Oooh, all the new Poppets are looking so CUTE! Wow, Stormtrooper! And very adorable ears on your first one FF.

Guys, I just made a crazy purple monkey stuffy for my wee girl with a totally complicated pattern that I drafted and though it is nothing like a poppet I could not have even attempted it without the poppet pattern and all I have learned here. I was so influenced by the wealth of knowledge in this thread! Thank you, thank you all so much.

I just started the inset eye tute! It won't be ready to post until at least Monday or Tuesday because of drying times and such. I think it will be a great tute though!

I can't wait to see it!

I've been editing mr Troopers pictures. But there's quite a few and I've had a rough day. Hopefully I'll at least get them edited tonight.

Query: I want to make a poppet with the suede that the majority of you have used when creating poppets, only I can't find any of this fabric at my local craft stores. Where do you get yours from? How much is it generally (I can't spend too much money)? Thank you you lovely people. I know there are the links on the first page, but I just want to know your favorite places"^.^"

I've found it at JoAnn's, hancock's, and walmart.  this time of year it's scarce, because it's a winter fabric.  Look in the clearance, that's your best bet
