Well I'm very sad.  Cry The last poppet I made was sent on to her new home. I posted her link here awhile back. Her name was Bonnie. It looks like her new owner has flaked on her end of the personal swap.  Cry So now I sent a poppet to someone that is sending me nothing. Lesson learned about personal swappage. I guess from now on I'll only be personal swapping with Craftster's I "know".

Oh, that sucks. Especially as so much care goes in to each poppet.

Thanks everyone. I just needed to vent a sec. It is sad because poppets take a lot of time and each one is so unique. I am still hoping she may come through. I haven't heard from her in a while. I guess you never know.

Cry That is so sad! I hope she does come through for you. You can always hit me up for a personal swap if and when you need a fix. I'll find the time to spoil you with crafty goodness.   Grin

I can safely say that inez and lovesclutter are great personal swappers (as long as the post office doesn't goof  Roll Eyes)

So do you mean poppet in the British sense of the word, like just a doll, or is it a voodoo thing?

I'm looking for Simplicity 6340 (the 1970's sailor dress). PM me if you've got a copy to swop or sell! Cheesy

lol, it's not voodoo, it is more like the British sense of the word, a sweetie or a darling child.

Thanks! They don't really look like voodoo dolls anyway. Too cute.
