Thhat is the most ripped puritan/Quaker I've ever seen Shocked. (I apologize if they are neither puritans nor Quakers Cheesy)
They are just role playing for the holiday,lol

thanks Ghilie....i managed to find the pm link finally!! lols...now i gotta figure how to use craftster and start changing my detls!

gotta warn u all, i have totally no idea what i'm doing (totally nvr made anything before, except building paper craft models).

ooo...my mom has one but it's really old and it is like a runaway locomotive most times!

A lot of people have hand-sewn their poppets.  I personally would never hand-sew one, but I'm not very good at hand sewing.  I always stab myself with the needle.

heheh...i'm not too gd @ hand sewing either but i don wanna get sewn by my mom's "locomotive"! or i'd have to get her to sew it for me!

but i really really wanted to make my first poppet totally mine! so m gonna try n sew it myself first! *fingers crossed*

now i gotta go find eyes n fabric! pheew!

i suck at handsweing, ansd i did it, he key is a good fabric and a stich that works well with that f abric

backstitch is good



to lazy and tirefd to fix my corections, and am dragginger my flingers on teh keyboars wich is the reason for so manuy mistakes

Is your mom's machine a professional one?  Because I can control the speed of my non-professional machine by how hard I press on the foot pedal.  it's like driving.   Wink

hmmm.....it's the really old metal monstrosity type....
hers is a bid harder to manage cos she had it modified a little to suit herself...lols...
her pedal does have "gears" but i think just gear1 then gear5 and sumtimes gear1 does not work!

almost got my hand caught in it when i was younger n playing with her sewing machine

if i'm desperate enuf i guess i'd have to check out her machine again! 0;p
